+Do you share my personal information with other organisations?

We will never sell your personal information to other organisations for marketing purposes.

We may share your information with third parties in certain circumstances including those listed below:

  • The provider of the product you have purchased from us.
  • Credit reference agencies, to check your identity for the purposes of complying with the Money Laundering Regulations (the agency will note this check on your file but it will not be available to third parties and it will not affect your credit rating)
  • Law enforcement agencies and other financial organisations and industry bodies for purpose of fraud prevention

+How will you keep my personal information safe?

We are committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of the personal information you provide to us. We ensure that our systems are kept up to date with the relevant antivirus protection and place them behind a firewall. We also routinely test the security of our systems with third party security experts.

+Where do you store my personal information?

All personal information is stored on systems designed to meet applicable regulatory requirements and the majority are hosted in the European Economic Area (EEA). Before personal information is processed outside of the EEA we ensure that adequate safeguards are in place.

+How can I see a copy of the information you hold about me?

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please contact the Forces Mutual team on 0151 363 5290.

+How will you use my personal information for marketing purposes?

With your permission, we will send you information about products and services which we think may be of interest. You can select your preferred method of contact (email, post, telephone and/or SMS). You can ask us to stop contacting you for marketing purposes at anytime by emailing nomarketing@forcesmutual.org or calling 0151 363 5290. We will never sell your information to third parties for marketing purposes.

+How can I change my preferred method of receiving marketing communications?

If you choose to receive marketing communications from Forces Mutual you can select how you would like to hear from us - email, post, telephone, SMS or a combination of these. You can update your preferences at anytime by calling the Forces Mutual team on 0151 363 5290.

+How long will you keep my personal information?

We will retain a record of your personal information for as long as you have a product or use a service with us. We will also keep this information for a period of time after you terminate the product or service to ensure we comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
