Last month Forces Financial were awarded Silver in the Ministry of Defence Employee Recognition Scheme in acknowledgement of our support to Defence Personnel. The award follows being the first dedicated Forces financial services provider to sign the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant in 2014, marking our on-going commitment to help the Armed Forces Community.
The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) recognises private sector employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to Defence and the Armed Forces community, by aligning their company values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
Robin Williams, Sales and Marketing Director - Military, at Forces Financial says of the new award,
“It is a great honour to receive the Employer Recognition Scheme’s Silver award, particularly because a prerequisite of this award is receiving a third party nomination. We are very proud of the fact that we were the first organisation of our kind to sign the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant, so it’s great to have taken the next step less than two years later. We have plenty of plans for the year ahead and are looking forward to proving our commitment further still.”
Forces Financial was nominated for the Silver award by Kristina Carrington, Regional Employer Engagement Director, East Anglia Reserve Forces for excelling in four key areas:
